WorldVia Travel Network's Discovery Sessions Return for 2026

Written by Team WorldVia | Feb 4, 2026 2:00:00 PM

WorldVia Travel Network has successfully completed its first run of Discovery sessions, a series of immersive, one-day virtual events designed to help travel advisors gain expertise in their niches and turn that knowledge into sales-ready strategies for their businesses.

Each Discovery focuses on a specific product type or travel style for advisors currently working within a given niche or those looking to strengthen their knowledge. Overall, Discovery sessions blend supplier education, market insights, and practical business-building content in a convenient online format.

“Each of our events bring their own flavor,” said Erica Scannelli, WorldVia Director of Member Development. “With our Discoveries, we have the opportunity to impact and improve our advisors’ ability to sell within their chosen travel niche—and impart lasting lessons along the way.”

In 2026, WorldVia’s Discoveries lineup features the returning Beachside Bliss, Cruise Compass, and World Explorer (Tour + FIT) events, alongside a new Romance Discovery February 10-12 that will spotlight opportunities in the romance, honeymoon, and destination wedding market.

Advisors who attend Discovery sessions are welcome at multiple sessions across multiple days, where they will be taught by WorldVia instructors with decades of experience as well as supplier partners whose products align with the day’s subject matter. Across each Discovery, attendees will explore client profiles, product nuances, and marketing tactics, leaving with clearer positioning and fresh ideas for driving new and repeat travel bookings.

The Beachside Bliss Discovery serves advisors who want to specialize in all-inclusive and beach-focused getaways, from the Caribbean and Mexico to resort destinations around the globe. Participants will examine the types of beach-bound customers they serve, compare resort offerings and destination options, refine their sales strategies, and connect with trusted partners who excel at delivering sun-and-sand escapes.

Meanwhile, the Cruise Compass Discovery dives into ocean, river, expedition, and niche cruising, teaching advisors how to match the right sailing style with the right client while keeping pace with an evolving cruise marketplace. The program addresses who today’s cruise customers are, which products best align with their needs, and practical approaches for promoting and packaging cruise experiences throughout the year.

WorldVia’s World Explorer (Tour + FIT) Discovery casts its net around the world, tailored for advisors planning complex, multi-stop itineraries and escorted tours, spanning everything from America’s National Parks to Europe, Africa, Asia, Australia, and beyond. Advisors will explore the profiles of Tour and FIT travelers, discover essential destinations and experiences for these clients, and gain expert tips for designing intricate vacations that feel seamless to the traveler.

For those looking for further specialization within their chosen niche, the Romance Discovery will introduce a new way for advisors to explore the fast-growing romance travel segment, featuring dedicated content on ideal clients, destination and resort options, and strategies for capturing and retaining romance-focused business.

In total, WorldVia’s 2026 Discoveries offer ample opportunity for new and experienced advisors alike to reset, refresh, and refocus their efforts on the types of travel they love to sell.

“I’m really excited with what we have planned for our Discoveries this year,” said Scannelli. “This is one of those events where you can see the lightbulbs really go off at the end of our education. At our core, we’re here to help our advisors sell travel, and that’s what each Discovery is all about.”

Romance Discovery will be hosted February 10-12.
Beachside Bliss will next be hosted October 6.
Cruise Compass will next be hosted October 7
World Explorer will next be hosted October 8.
