Jan. 7, 2024 – Atlanta – WorldVia Travel Group, a leading collection of travel companies in the United States, has announced its 2025 series of educational and networking events for members of WorldVia Travel Network, the company’s host agency for travel advisors and agency owners. This year’s event lineup has been enhanced to include both virtual learning sessions and in-person gatherings across the U.S., offering travel advisor members expanded access to diverse opportunities for networking, skill-building and establishing thriving travel businesses in 2025.
WorldVia's 2025 educational series boasts a dynamic mix of new programs and returning favorites, categorized into six impactful session types: "Roadshows," "Navigators," “Forums,” "Discoveries," "Accelerators" and "Immersions," along with other notable live and virtual events designed to foster professional growth and strengthen industry expertise.
WorldVia's annual “Roadshow” events, branded as the “Thrive in ’25” tour, will take place throughout January 2025. The nationwide tour, led by WorldVia’s team of travel and marketing experts with decades of industry experience, connects local network members with global partners, products and destinations. WorldVia staff members will present "The Art of Selling Your Travel Brand," a signature session focused on the key strategies “travelpreneurs” need to effectively market and sell their services.
Attendees will learn how to elevate their brands, identify opportunities and discover travel products tailored to their portfolios and niches.
The 2025 Roadshow series is extending its itinerary to introduce two new cities—Las Vegas, Nevada, and Morristown, New Jersey—along with three returning locations, all scheduled for January 2025:
• Orlando, Fla., Jan. 7
• Dallas, Texas, Jan. 11
• Minneapolis, Minn., Jan. 13
• Las Vegas, Nev., Jan 15
• Morristown, N.J., Jan. 18
“At WorldVia, we're focused on continually improving our educational offerings to provide more opportunities each year for unparalleled networking, learning and business growth," said Jason Block, chief executive officer for WorldVia. "By refining and adding to our programs year after year, we stay committed to giving our members the resources they need to succeed in a competitive industry, while building a supportive and innovative community of travel professionals.”
WorldVia reaffirms its dedication to delivering enhanced educational opportunities in 2025 with the introduction of its new travel advisor “Navigator” event. This single-day session, tailored for host agency members who are new to the travel industry, is designed to build foundational knowledge, boost confidence, and tackle the challenges of launching a travel agency and managing small business ownership.
The one-day “Navigator” event will offer hands-on experiences that guide advisors through the essential steps to establish successful travel businesses. Participants will engage in interactive coaching sessions, Q&A opportunities, and introductions to major industry suppliers from around the world. The session will be held in Dallas, Texas, January 10, just ahead of the “Roadshow” event scheduled for the following day.
Another impactful addition to WorldVia’s 2025 schedule of in-person offerings is the new “Forum” program. These single-day events will bring together WorldVia’s members, staff and partner experts in key travel niches to exchange ideas, share tips, debate hot topics, and explore new trends. “Forum” attendees can expect dynamic, thought-provoking discussions aimed at inspiring innovation and fostering collaboration within specific areas of travel.
“Forum” sessions for 2025 will comprise three distinct session types, each designed to explore relevant market trends, products and destinations that travel advisors can leverage to refine strategies and uncover new opportunities for success:
• World Explorer (Tour + FIT) Forum: Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., Oct. 15.
• Beachside Bliss Forum: Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., Oct. 16.
• Cruise Compass Forum: Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., Oct. 17.
WorldVia is broadening its 2025 programming with the newly virtualized "Discovery” series, created for members to "discover” pertinent travel market categories and gain in-depth education on specific travel styles and suppliers. The revamped program helps both newcomers and seasoned specialists enhance their expertise by exploring product types, travel styles and sales strategies to capitalize on emerging opportunities in high-impact, niche markets.
“The new digital format for 'Discovery' events advances accessibility, enabling more travel planners to sharpen their skills, remain competitive and stay in tune with our rapidly evolving industry,” explained Block.
These online events will feature three specialized sessions, scheduled between February and November 2025:
• World Explorer (Tour + FIT): Feb. 25, March 6, Oct. 21
• Cruise Compass: Feb. 27, May 8, Oct. 23
• Beachside Bliss: Feb. 26, March 7, Oct. 22
The “90-Day Startup Challenge,” another new web-based session for travel advisors in 2025, is being introduced to provide aspiring travel advisors with step-by-step support and practical tools to establish a strong foundation for their travel businesses. The program kicks off May 20, with an additional session scheduled for September 30. Virtual attendees will gain essential skills in agency setup, business planning, travel partners, marketing and more.
Travel advisors can further fine-tune their marketing skills with WorldVia’s “Travel Marketeer Camp” a series of virtual weekend sessions focused on building eye-catching websites, mastering Search Engine Optimization (SEO) techniques, creating effective newsletters, and more. Joshua Harrell, WorldVia’s chief revenue officer, will lead the sessions, providing interactive discussions and real-time feedback tailored to participants' marketing needs. The program runs on three weekends in 2025: March 1–2, August 16–17, and November 22–23.
WorldVia’s award-winning "Accelerator" series returns in 2025, following its silver award for “Overall Training Program” at the 2024 Travel Weekly Magellan Awards. "Accelerator" sessions, geared toward intimate discussions in an open-forum setting, equip advisors with the tools, strategies and confidence needed for long-term success. The immersive course culminates in a celebratory graduation ceremony, where attendees don caps and gowns to mark their achievements and leave ready to tackle industry challenges with clarity and expertise.
The WorldVia classroom will serve as an incubator for fresh ideas, actionable insights and innovative strategies during the five-day "Accelerator" program, scheduled for February, June, and November 2025:
• WorldVia Head Quarters, Roswell, Ga., Feb. 3-7
• Dallas, Texas, June 23-27
• WorldVia Head Quarters, Roswell, Ga., Nov. 10-14
WorldVia's popular “Immersion” courses are also coming back in 2025 to offer more live, multi-day events that provide in-depth knowledge on specific travel specializations. The 2025 “Immersions” include three different tracks to be hosted at the WorldVia Education Center in Roswell, Georgia:
• Growing with Groups: Cruise Edition, concentrating on cruise group sales, July 14-16.
• Destination Wedding Edition, geared toward selling destination weddings, July 17-18.
• The Look of Luxury, focused on all things luxury travel, July 19-20.
“CORE,” another returning WorldVia event for 2025, is taking place in Atlanta, Georgia, November 8. This full-day, interactive session will allow members to collaborate with the WorldVia team and preferred supplier partners to hone their sales and marketing strategies for 2026. CORE, led by travel industry “professors,” will focus on best practices from successful agency owners, helping participants create personalized business plans for growth.
WorldVia’s annual "Luxe Symposium” will take place in Dallas, Texas, September 16. Members of WorldVia’s Luxe Luminaries program, staff and luxury travel partners and experts will gather for a single day of idea exchange, debates on hot topics, and an exploration of current trends in advance of the company’s annual flagship event, "WORLD25: Connecting Passion for Travel to Profits," scheduled for September 17-19 in Dallas, Texas. A headline event, WORLD has consistently grown each subsequent year, and 2025 is poised to be its largest and most comprehensive edition to date.
