What counts as "qualifying revenue"?

Your 2027 GEM status is based on the total commission paid to WorldVia Travel Network on your bookings during the 2026 calendar year—before your plan's commission split is applied.
  • It is not the total booking or trip value—only the commission counts, not the full sale amount.
  • It is not the amount you personally take home after your plan split. Every WorldVia plan gives members a different percentage of the commission earned—but qualifying revenue is measured on the full commission amount, before that split.
Example: A supplier pays a $1,000 commission to WorldVia Travel Network on your booking. Regardless of your plan's split—whether you take home 70%, 80%, or 90% of that commission—the full $1,000 counts toward your qualifying revenue, not just your personal payout.

Individual-advisor status

GEM status is now earned by each advisor individually—not aggregated at the agency-owner level. Every advisor in a multi-advisor agency has an equal shot at recognition.

Associate advisors included

Associate advisors are now eligible for GEM benefits, rewarding individual contribution and giving emerging talent a clear growth path inside their agency.

Simplified 5 × 3 structure

One fewer Diamond Club level. Every group now has exactly 3 levels, and benefits are set primarily at the group level to reduce confusion.

Percentile-based targets

Diamond Club and Crown Club earning targets are now set with the network's top 1% and top 5% in mind—keeping the program fair and scalable as WorldVia Travel Network grows.

GEM Program FAQs

Qualifying revenue is the full commission paid to WorldVia Travel Network within the calendar year (January 1st–December 31st) on your bookings—before your plan's commission split is applied. It is not your total sales or booking volume, and it is not the amount you personally take home after your split. Every WorldVia plan gives members a different percentage of the commission earned, but your qualifying revenue is measured on the full commission amount paid to WorldVia, not just your personal payout.
Starting with 2027 status (based on 2026 performance), GEM status is calculated per individual advisor rather than aggregated at the agency-owner level, and associate advisors are eligible for their own GEM status and benefits for the first time. Each advisor's own qualifying revenue—the total commission paid to WorldVia Travel Network on their individual bookings, before their plan split—determines their personal GEM status, not the agency's combined total. If you own or lead a multi-advisor agency, your GEM status now reflects your own production, and each of your advisors (including associates) earns their own status based on theirs.
The current 2026 GEM Program, based on 2025 performance, remains unchanged. The updates outlined here apply to 2027 GEM status, which is based on 2026 performance. To see the benefits for your current 2026 GEM status, visit the 2026 GEM Program page.
For Diamond Club and Crown Club, commission earning targets are set with the network's top 1% and top 5% performance percentiles in mind. As the network grows, the qualifying revenue for these tiers grows with it, so Diamond Club and Crown Club always represent our top 1% and 5% in revenue production—keeping the program fair and scalable as WorldVia Travel Network grows.
Once you achieve a GEM status level, you'll receive the benefits and recognition for the rest of the current year and the entire following program year. For example, achieve Ruby status by June, and you'll enjoy all the fabulous recognition and benefits of being a Ruby member for the remainder of this year and throughout the entire next year! The 2028 GEM program qualifications and benefits (based on 2027 performance) will be announced in Q4 2027.
