Registering your business is easy and quick. It might take some cash (depending on your state), but it's easy and quick. What you need is to register your business with your state. In Minnesota, we register through the Secretary of State's office. You will also be getting an FEIN Number from the Federal Government. A couple boxes to fill out and a couple clicks and you are done.

You have been guided more than likely by a lawyer or an accountant this far. Registering might seem so easy (because it is) that you find yourself tempted to skip it. Don't. It is terribly important for the success and protection of the business and you.
