WorldVia Travel Network Previews What's Next for Advisors at WORLD26, Announces WORLD27 Return to Orlando
CANCUN, Mexico (Oct. 9, 2026)—WorldVia Travel Network previewed upcoming updates to its member platform and unveiled new education for independent travel advisors at WORLD26, its annual conference held Sept. 22–26 at AVA Resort Cancun. The event brought together 300 member agency owners and advisors, along with their guests and supplier partners, for five days of technology updates, hands-on training, and business education.
Technology Built In-House

Product Development Manager Britta Roppe walked members through Finances, the commission invoicing and reporting platform WorldVia Travel Network designed and built in-house and rolled out network-wide in 2026. Advisors use Finances to enter, manage, and track commission invoices from a single dashboard with built-in analytics and reporting.
Roppe and Jason Block, Chief Executive Officer of WorldVia Travel Group, then previewed upcoming updates to the network's member platform, outlining how WorldVia Travel Network will continue to build the tools advisors use to market, sell and manage their businesses. More details will be shared in the coming months.
That work extends to travelers as well. WorldVia.com, the company's consumer travel brand, invites travelers to explore destinations, browse advisor profiles and request a trip proposal directly from a WorldVia Travel Network advisor, connecting the travelers it attracts with the advisors who plan their trips.
Throughout the conference, an Experience Hall gave members one-on-one help with the tools they use every day, including WorldVia PRO, Sites, Email+, Rallio, TRIO, Agent Air, Travelport Cruise and Finances.
Education From the Team That Knows the Business

WORLD26 delivered more than 20 hands-on WorldVia Academy breakout sessions across three tracks, built for agency owners and advisors and taught by WorldVia Travel Network team members and industry experts on topics including email marketing, content production, and business strategy. Supplier partners also led sessions across travel categories, giving members direct access to the brands they sell.
Now the network is opening that education to members who weren't there. Starting Oct. 21, WORLD26 Unlocked, a new on-demand library of sessions taught by Team WorldVia, will be available through WorldVia Academy on WorldVia PRO. Attendees can revisit sessions, catch classes they missed, and members who didn't make the trip can take them too.
Chief Revenue Officer Joshua Harrell brought "The Thriving Travel Advisor Blueprint" to the main stage. Harrell has taught the five-step flywheel to advisors around the world over the past year through the YouTube series and podcast “Travel Marketeering Live,” giving newer advisors a clear path to growth and experienced advisors a way to diagnose what to strengthen next.
"The strongest advisors in our network already do these five things, often without naming them," said Harrell. "The Blueprint gives that work a name and an order, so a newer advisor has a path to follow and an experienced advisor has a framework to come back to every quarter."
Block shared stories of his own successes and failures as an entrepreneur and why advisors gain the most when they work on their business, not just in it. Laura DeVeiga, director of Agency Development & Service Delivery, gave a keynote drawing on the lessons of "Ted Lasso" to encourage advisors to invest in themselves.
Sinéad O'Connell, Sr. director of Partner Relations & Trade Sales, gave advisors a clear-eyed read on the market they are selling in right now. On the headwinds side, she pointed to geopolitical uncertainty, fuel price volatility, the November election and weather-related disruption, from low European river levels shaping 2027 river cruise bookings to storm impacts in Jamaica.
The tailwinds, she said, give advisors plenty to work with. Cruise lines are building for long-term demand, hotel demand is accelerating, short-term rentals are performing well, and resorts in Jamaica are using the moment to upgrade. With global travel expected to keep growing over the next decade and fewer international visitors coming to the U.S., O'Connell told advisors that domestic travel is a growing opportunity heading into the fourth quarter.
On Sept. 25, WorldVia Travel Network presented its 2026 Questy Awards, the network's yearly recognition of the agencies, advisors and supplier partners moving it forward. Honors spanned sales growth, niche specialties, luxury, marketing, community leadership and partner support, with more than 50 agencies earning Monarch Agency of Excellence distinction. The full list of winners is available in WorldVia Travel Network's Sept. 28 announcement.
WORLD Returns to Orlando in 2027

WorldVia Travel Network closed WORLD26 by announcing that WORLD27 will return to Orlando, Florida, a member favorite, Sept. 23–27, 2027, at the Hilton Orlando.
"I'm so proud of our team for the planning and execution of this year's event," said Block. "I know its impact will be long-lasting, and I'm already counting the days until WORLD27."
